The Yamaha saga starts in 1887, when Mr. Yamaha, an engineer specialised in medical equipment, has the opportunity to repair an American organ.
Fascinated by the instrument, he builds one himself. Yamaha have since then become the leading musical instrument manufacturers, with sales outlets in 111 countries.
Hanlet was sole importer of their pianos for 25 years. In 1989, they opened their own office in Belgium.
